Pianist Kirill Gerstein brings a personal touch to every note he plays, so imagine how he’ll sparkle in this rare performance of the young Beethoven’s very first piano concerto. And let your imagination run free, as Richard Strauss travels to eternity and beyond, in his visionary Death and Transfiguration, and waltzes through a fairytale Vienna in this silky and gloriously sensual love-letter to his opera Der Rosenkavalier.
